GRIEF SUPPORT

HELPING GRIEVING HEARTS HEAL

Our relationships to our loved ones continue on in our lives even after death or other circumstances take away their physical presence. Every person grieves in different ways and for different reasons, whether they are experiencing the death of a family member, a romantic breakup, or the end of a pregnancy. Grieving can be a product of recent events, or it can stem from a loss from years or even decades prior.

My goal, when working with a client experiencing grief, is to honor those connections that made the relationship so important. When we mourn the loss of someone close to us, we are experiencing the difficult yet natural healing process of grief. Even as the world around us becomes more comfortable with normalizing the grief process, it can be a challenge to allow your own grief to take up space.

I trained as a grief support specialist at Our House, a West Los Angeles program that provides counseling to grieving children, teens, and adults. I am also a volunteer grief specialist at Camp Erin, a grief support camp for children, which is sponsored by Our House.

Call or email me to discuss how we can work together. 310.492.5005.
