PENCIL & STRING WORKSHOP

The Pencil and String is a workshop that combines the healing power of art and sound to help participants express a variety of underlying feelings, including grief and loss. No art or music background is needed; in fact, some of the drawing is done with eyes closed. Larry is a psychotherapist in West Los Angeles who specializes in grief and loss and employs art therapy in his practice. Andrea is a world class harpist who has helped stroke victims begin to reconnect brain pathways and/or develop new ones through harp playing.
